People with dyslexia have a hard time recognizing voices
The mystery of dyslexia is far from solved. According to this article dyslexia is (also) connected to the ability to distinguish voices and to left-handedness.
A strange coincidence: I recently went looking for a site I visited a long time ago – it has a comparatively short list of spelling rules for English. I found it and took another look around the site. The mentioned reasons for dyslexia on said site are in dire need of updating. They caused a funny little time shake in my memory. All that talk about the left side and right side of the brain is so 90′ish. It was so appealingly easy back then. At least that’s how I remember it.
